  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Sweet Potatoes: Start by thoroughly washing and peeling the sweet potatoes. After peeling, slice them thinly into rounds, ideally about 0.125 inch thick for maximum crunchiness.
  • Soak the Slices: Place the sweet potato slices in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for around 30 minutes.
  • Dry the Slices: After soaking, drain the slices and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  • Season the Potatoes: In a large mixing bowl, toss the dried sweet potato slices with olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Ensure each slice is evenly coated.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Chips: Place the sweet potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook Until Crispy: Air fry the slices for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
