Ingredients
  

  • 4.0 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2.0 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3.0 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.0 large lemon, zest and juice
  • 1.0 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1.0 teaspoon paprika
  • 1.0 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • None optional fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well mixed.
  • Marinate the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Place them in a large resealable plastic bag or a dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each thigh is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Allow it to heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the Chicken: Once marinated, take the chicken out of the bag and allow any excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded to ensure even cooking.
  • Cook the Chicken: Air fry the chicken thighs at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip them over so the skin side is facing up. Continue to cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy.
  • Rest and Garnish: Once done, carefully remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
