1 lb ground beef

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup uncooked white rice (or brown rice for a healthier option)

2 cups beef broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon soy sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional: Red pepper flakes, for some heat

Optional: Fresh parsley, for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat if necessary.

      Cook the Broccoli: While the beef is cooking, add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still bright green.

        Combine Ingredients: Stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, soy sauce, and sour cream. Mix everything well and bring to a simmer.

          Transfer to Dish: Pour the beef, rice, and broccoli mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.

            Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously on top of the casserole.

              Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
