Ingredients

2 large apples (preferably Honeycrisp or Fuji)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon coconut sugar (or brown sugar)

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the Apples: Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife, slice the apples into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick). Remove any seeds and core pieces as you slice.

Toss with Flavor: In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, coconut sugar, and a pinch of salt. Gently toss the mixture until the apple slices are evenly coated.

Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to preheat at 300°F (150°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Arrange the Apple Slices: Lay the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; you might need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

Air Fry the Chips: Air fry the apple slices for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them towards the end; the chips should be golden brown and crisp.

Cool and Crisp: Once cooked, remove the apple chips and let them cool on a wire rack. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.

Store or Serve: Enjoy your crispy apple chips immediately or store them in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days.
