  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • spray cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Herb Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, parsley, paprika, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice. Mix until well integrated and set aside.
  • Form the Turkey Bites: In a separate bowl, add the ground turkey. Divide the herb butter mixture in half. Add one half of the herb butter to the ground turkey and mix well until fully combined.
  • Shape the Bites: Using your hands, form the turkey mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter). You should get around 16-20 bites, depending on the size.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. If your air fryer doesn’t need preheating, skip this step.
  • Arrange in the Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or olive oil. Place the turkey bites in a single layer in the basket, ensuring there is enough space between them to allow hot air to circulate.
  • Air Fry the Turkey Bites: Cook the turkey bites at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and fully cooked (the internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  • Finishing Touch: Once cooked, remove the turkey bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Melt the remaining half of the herb butter and drizzle it over the turkey bites for an extra flavor boost.
