Ingredients

1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained and flaked

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise for a creamier option)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 small celery stalk, finely chopped

2 green onions, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

1 head of romaine or butter lettuce, leaves separated

Optional: Cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices for garnish

Optional: Fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley, or dill) for added flavor

Instructions

Prepare the Tuna Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced avocado, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Use a fork to gently mash the avocado while mixing it with the tuna for a creamy texture.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the finely chopped celery and sliced green onions. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, add fresh herbs, such as chopped cilantro or dill, for an extra layer of flavor.

Assemble the Boats: Take a large leaf of lettuce, and spoon a generous portion of the tuna salad mixture into the center of the leaf. You can do this with as many leaves as you need, depending on your serving size.

Garnish and Serve: If using, add cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices on top or around the salad for added color and crunch. Serve immediately for a fresh, healthy meal.

Storing Leftovers: If you have any leftover tuna salad, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days but keep the lettuce leaves separate until ready to serve.
