Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 lemon (half juiced, half sliced for garnish)

For the Mustard Dill Sauce:

¼ cup Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

1 teaspoon honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over each fillet and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Squeeze the juice from half of the lemon over the salmon.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Make the Mustard Dill Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, honey, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a minute. Serve the salmon on plates, drizzled with the mustard dill sauce, and garnish with lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh dill if desired.

Enjoy: Pair your savory salmon with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
