Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Scrub the sweet potatoes under cold water and dry them thoroughly. Cut each sweet potato into wedges, approximately 1 inch thick.

Make the Seasoning Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well combined.

Coat the Sweet Potato Wedges: Add the sweet potato wedges to the bowl and toss them until each wedge is evenly coated with the honey-spice mixture.

Arrange on the Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned sweet potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have space in between for even cooking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the sweet potato wedges from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.

Enjoy: Serve the wedges warm as a side dish, snack, or appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce.
