1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

8 oz wide egg noodles

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 onion, sliced

1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced

2 cups broccoli florets

1 cup beef broth

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)

1 tsp ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Prepare the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic and sliced onion for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Add bell peppers and broccoli, cooking for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

        Combine Ingredients: Return the beef to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Add the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and grated ginger. Stir gently.

          Thicken the Sauce: Pour in the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) and stir well to combine everything. Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is cooked through.
