1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)

1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)

Tortilla chips or fresh veggies for serving

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. You can use a hand mixer for a creamier texture.

    Add the ranch seasoning mix to the cream cheese and sour cream mixture and mix until well combined.

      Fold in the diced tomatoes (with juices), shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions until evenly distributed. If you're using black beans, gently fold them in at this stage.

        Transfer the mixture to a serving dish or a dip bowl.

          Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (if you can wait that long!).
