1 can (15 ounces) of chickpeas, rinsed and drained

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon hot sauce (preferably Frank’s RedHot or your favorite)

1 teaspoon ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Chickpeas: In a colander, rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly under cold water. Shake off any excess water and then spread them out on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to dry them completely. Ensure they are as dry as possible for maximum crunch.

      Season the Chickpeas: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, hot sauce, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

        Coat the Chickpeas: Add the dried chickpeas to the bowl and toss them with the seasoning mixture. Make sure each chickpea is well coated with the marinade.
