Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) fresh or frozen cheese ravioli

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)

Instructions

Cook the Ravioli: If using frozen ravioli, cook them according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside. For fresh ravioli, cook them in a pot of salted boiling water for about 3-4 minutes until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Toast the Ravioli: Carefully add the cooked ravioli to the skillet, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to coat the ravioli in the butter mixture. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the ravioli are golden and crispy on both sides.

Add Parmesan: Reduce the heat to low. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the ravioli, and then add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow the cheese to melt and adhere to the ravioli, tossing gently to coat.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Transfer the crispy ravioli to a serving platter, and garnish with the chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if desired.

Enjoy: Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy your deliciously crispy, cheesy Butter-Toasted Ravioli!
