1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

For the Garnish:

Extra caramel sauce

Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Prepare the Blondie Base:

      - In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.

        - Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

          - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.

            - Pour the blondie batter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

              Make the Cheesecake Layer:

                - In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and cinnamon; mix until creamy and well combined.

                  - Carefully pour the cheesecake filling over the blondie base, smoothing it into an even layer.

                    Prepare the Caramel Apple Topping:

                      - In a separate bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar until coated.

                        - Scatter the apple mixture across the cheesecake layer evenly. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apples.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the edges are lightly golden. The center may still have a slight jiggle but will firm up as it cools.

Cool and Chill: Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best texture.

Serve: Cut into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature. Top with whipped cream, additional caramel sauce, and chopped nuts if desired.

                                Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 6 hours | Servings: 12-16
