Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup corn (fresh or canned)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 pkg refrigerated crescent roll dough

Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, chopped cilantro

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened. Stir in the taco seasoning mix, black beans, and corn. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, mixing well to combine. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean, lightly floured surface. Pinch the seams together to create a solid sheet.

Assemble the Sticks: Cut the dough into rectangles (about 3x5 inches). Place a generous spoonful of the beef mixture on one side of each rectangle, top with a sprinkle of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and pinch the edges to seal tightly.

Bake the Sticks: Place the taco sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, accompanied by sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and fresh cilantro if desired.

Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 30 min | Servings: 8 Taco Sticks
