Ingredients

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup creamy chocolate pudding (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos)

1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (like hazelnuts or almonds, optional)

Fresh berries (raspberries or strawberries, optional for added freshness)

Instructions

Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the mixture on medium-high speed until soft peaks form (about 3-5 minutes). Be careful not to over-whip!

Layering the Parfait: Take four serving glasses or bowls, and start layering the parfait. Begin with a generous spoonful of chocolate pudding at the bottom.

Add Cookies: Spoon in a layer of crushed chocolate cookies evenly over the pudding layer. Press gently to create a nice crust.

Add Whipped Cream: Next, gently add a layer of the whipped cream mixture on top of the crushed cookies, smoothing it out with the back of a spoon.

Repeat Layers: Repeat the process for a second layer: chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and whipped cream. You can decide the number of layers based on the size of your glasses.

Garnish: Finish by delicately dolloping a little whipped cream on the top layer. Sprinkle dark chocolate shavings and chopped nuts on top. For a touch of color, you can add a couple of fresh berries.

Chill: Refrigerate the parfaits for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the layers to meld together and makes for a wonderful presentation.

Serve: Serve chilled, and enjoy each layer of chocolatey goodness!
