1 can (about 16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

1/2 cup warm water (110°F)

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

    Prepare the Dough: Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into small squares, about 1 to 1.5 inches each.

      Boil the Baking Soda Solution: In a medium bowl, stir together the warm water and baking soda until dissolved. This will be used for dipping the dough bites.

        Dip the Dough Bites: Gently dip each piece of dough into the baking soda solution for about 10 seconds, then remove and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each bite.
