Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

1 small garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Optional: sliced jalapeño for a spicy kick

Tortilla chips or veggie sticks for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl.

Mash the Base: Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the avocados until smooth but still slightly chunky, for added texture.

Mix in Yogurt: Add the Greek yogurt to the mashed avocados and stir until well combined.

Add Flavors: Incorporate the lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly until the dip is creamy and all ingredients are well distributed.

Finish with Herbs: Gently fold in the chopped cilantro and, if desired, the sliced jalapeño for a bit of heat.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the dip and adjust seasoning with more lime juice, salt, or cumin as needed.

Chill and Serve: For the best flavor, cover the dip and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetable sticks.
