8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

    Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
