Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

3 cloves garlic, minced

⅓ cup tahini

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions

Prep the Ingredients: Begin by ensuring your cannellini beans are well-drained and rinsed. This helps remove excess sodium and enhances the flavor of the dip.

Blend the Base: In a food processor, combine the rinsed cannellini beans, minced garlic, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, and ground cumin.

Season It Up: Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend everything together until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Adjust Consistency: If the dip is too thick for your liking, you can add a small amount of cold water (1 tablespoon at a time) until you reach your desired consistency.

Taste Test: Give the dip a taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to enhance the flavors.

Garnish: Once blended to perfection, transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle with a bit more olive oil, sprinkle the chopped parsley on top, and, if you'd like, a dash of red pepper flakes for some heat.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve with pita chips, fresh vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches or wraps. Enjoy your creamy garlicky delight!
