8 corn tortillas

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cumin

Optional: Fresh lime wedges and cilantro for garnish

Prepare the Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, smoked paprika, and cumin. Set aside.

    Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

      Oil the Tortillas: Lightly brush both sides of each corn tortilla with olive oil. This helps them achieve a crispy texture.

        Add Seasoning: Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the oiled tortillas, ensuring good coverage for optimal flavor.

          Shape the Tortillas: Drape each tortilla over the air fryer rack or a small oven-safe bowl to create the classic taco shape. You may need to batch-cook, depending on your air fryer size.

            Air Fry the Tortillas: Place the shaped tortillas into the air fryer basket and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown and crunchy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

              Cool and Serve: Once crispy, remove the taco shells from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. They will become even crunchier as they cool. Serve with your favorite taco fillings and garnish with fresh lime wedges and cilantro if desired.
