Ingredients

2 large frozen parathas (store-bought or homemade)

1 lb (450g) boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup diced cucumber

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Squeeze of lime juice

Optional sauces (like tzatziki or spicy mayo) for drizzling

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin powder, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, and honey. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

      - Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for deeper flavor).

        Prepare the Air Fryer:

          - Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

            Air Fry the Chicken:

              - Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to work in batches). Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

                Crisp the Parathas:

                  - While the chicken is cooking, remove the parathas from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.

                    - Place the parathas in the air fryer basket once the chicken is done. Depending on your air fryer’s capacity, you may be able to cook both parathas at once; cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until crispy, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden and heated through.

                      Assemble the Wraps:

                        - Lay a crispy paratha flat on a plate. Top it with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and the air-fried chicken pieces.

                          - Drizzle your choice of sauce on top, squeeze fresh lime juice, and sprinkle chopped cilantro for added flavor.

                            Wrap It Up!

                              - Fold the sides of the paratha over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to create a wrap. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.

                                Optional Final Crisp:

                                  - If desired, place the assembled wrap back in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for an additional 2-3 minutes to make the outside extra crispy.

                                    Serve and Enjoy:

                                      - Slice the wraps in half, plate them, and serve with extra dipping sauce or side veggies.
