Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops (1 inch thick)

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 large eggs

½ cup all-purpose flour

¼ cup olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Breading Station: Set up three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs lightly. In the third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the Pork Chops: Season each pork chop lightly with salt and pepper. First, dredge each chop in the flour, shaking off the excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, reduce the heat to medium.

Cook the Pork Chops: Carefully place the breaded pork chops in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the chops are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).

Drain and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the pork chops to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor!
