Ingredients
  

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

1 onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

Cooked rice or mashed potatoes (for serving)

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth until well combined.

    Place the sliced onion and mushrooms (if using) at the bottom of the crockpot.

      Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika, and place them on top of the vegetables in the crockpot.

        Pour the prepared soup mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well covered.

          Add minced garlic and stir just slightly to distribute.

            Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

              30 minutes before serving, stir in the frozen peas (if using) for added color and nutrition.

                Once done, shred the chicken with two forks in the crockpot, mixing it with the gravy.

                  Serve the chicken and gravy over rice or mashed potatoes for a comforting meal.
