Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings, trimmed

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.

Prepare the Chicken Wings: In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Coat the Wings: Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Make the Honey Glaze: While the wings are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a gentle simmer. Let it thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes, and then remove from heat.

Glaze the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven. Drizzle the honey glaze generously over the hot wings, tossing them gently to coat all sides.

Serve: Transfer the glazed wings to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an extra touch. Serve hot and enjoy!
