4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Juice of half a lemon

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Heat the Butter: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter until bubbling.

Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds, just until the garlic is fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until pink, then flip them over and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.

Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, tossing everything together to combine well. Cook for an additional minute.

Finish with Parsley: Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley for freshness.

Serve: Plate the garlic butter shrimp and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy!
