Ingredients

2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate, your choice)

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang on the sides for easy removal later. This step ensures the fudge comes out smoothly and cuts neatly.

Melt the Mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, add the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until the chocolate chips are fully melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Be careful not to let it burn; keep an eye on it!

Pour and Spread: Once the mixture is evenly melted, pour it into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly into the corners.

Cool and Set: Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Once it’s slightly cooled, place it in the refrigerator to set completely for 2-3 hours.

Slice and Serve: After the fudge has set, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles, as desired. Enjoy your delightful creamy fudge bites!
