2 ripe avocados

1 medium tomato, diced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely chopped (optional for heat)

1 garlic clove, minced

Juice of 1 lime

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

    Mash: Using a fork or a potato masher, gently mash the avocados to your desired level of creaminess (smooth or chunky).

      Combine Ingredients: Add the diced tomato, chopped red onion, jalapeño (if using), minced garlic, lime juice, ground cumin, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
