3 ripe peaches, sliced

8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced

1 cup fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: a handful of arugula for added peppery flavor

Prepare the Peaches: Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half, remove the pits, and slice them into wedges. If you prefer, you can also peel the peaches for a smoother texture.

    Slice the Mozzarella: Carefully slice the fresh mozzarella into rounds that are roughly the same thickness as your peach slices for a balanced look and bite.

      Layer the Ingredients: On a large serving platter, begin to arrange the peach slices and mozzarella slices in an alternating pattern. Example: Peach, Mozzarella, Peach, and so on, until the platter is filled.
