Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup cabbage, finely shredded

1/2 cup pico de gallo (fresh salsa)

1 avocado, sliced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well coated.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

While shrimp is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or directly over an open flame for about 30 seconds on each side, until they are pliable.

Assemble the tacos by placing a few shrimp in the center of each tortilla, then topping with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.

Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
