Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

Toothpicks or small skewers (for easy eating)

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into 1-inch thick rounds. This will create bite-sized pieces that are easy to dip and eat.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and honey or maple syrup (if using). Stir well until everything is smooth and well incorporated.

Coat the Banana Slices: Dip each banana slice into the yogurt mixture, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Allow the excess to drip off.

Prepare for Freezing: Place the coated banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange them in a single layer, leaving some space between each piece.

Add the Toppings: Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. With a spoon, drizzle melted chocolate over the coated bananas. Then sprinkle the chopped nuts on top for added crunch and flavor.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the banana yogurt bites freeze for about 2-3 hours or until they are solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the bites from the baking sheet and place them in a freezer-safe container. You can insert a toothpick into each bite for easy eating. Enjoy your delicious frozen treats straight from the freezer!
