Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen

1 cup pineapple chunks, frozen

1 cup coconut milk (or any milk of choice)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional for added nutrition)

Fresh pineapple and banana slices for topping

Instructions

Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen bananas, frozen pineapple chunks, coconut milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and chia seeds.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed to ensure even mixing.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup. Blend again briefly to combine.

Prepare for Freezing: Pour the smoothie mixture into silicone muffin cups or cupcake liners, filling them about ¾ full.

Add Toppings: If desired, place small slices of fresh pineapple and banana on top of each cup for added flair.

Freeze: Place the filled cups in the freezer and allow them to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until fully solid.

Serve: To enjoy, simply pop the smoothie cups out of the molds and enjoy them immediately as a refreshing treat, or let sit for a minute at room temperature for easier eating.
