Ingredients

For Steak Bites:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

For Corn on the Cob:

4 ears of fresh corn, husked

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt to taste

Freshly chopped cilantro or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Bites: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season them generously with salt and pepper.

Cook the Corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the husked corn and cook for about 8-10 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside. You can also grill the corn until slightly charred for a smoky flavor.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the steak cubes in batches to avoid overcrowding. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and thyme, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).

Combine Everything: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter mixture until well-coated. Cook for an additional minute.

Prepare the Corn: While the steak is finishing, brush the cooked corn with the softened butter, sprinkle paprika and salt over it. Toss to ensure the corn is evenly coated.

Serve: Plate the garlic butter steak bites, garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve with the corn on the cob on the side, garnished with cilantro or parsley if desired. Enjoy your delicious meal!
