Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Cornmeal or flour for dusting the pizza peel

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape (12-inch round or rectangle). Transfer it onto a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal or flour.

Make the Garlic Oil: In a small saucepan, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and mix in the dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Spread Garlic Oil: Brush the garlic oil mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving about half an inch around the edges for the crust.

Add Cream Cheese: Dot the softened cream cheese evenly over the base, breaking it up into small pieces for an even melt.

Layer the Cheeses: Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese generously over the pizza, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake the Pizza: Carefully transfer the pizza to the heated pizza stone or a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Garnish: Once out of the oven, drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the top and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

Slice and Serve: Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
