Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)

8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (milk or dark, your choice)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, like walnuts or pecans)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or a deep-dish pie pan.

Melt Chocolate & Butter: In a large saucepan, melt the butter and chopped chocolate together over low heat. Stir continuously until smooth and fully combined. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Mix Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the sugar and whisk until well combined.

Add Eggs & Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract. Continue whisking until the batter is glossy and homogeneous.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Fold in Chocolates & Nuts: Gently fold the chocolate chips and nuts (if using) into the batter until evenly distributed.

Pour into Pie Dish: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pie dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake: Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. The edges should look set while the center remains soft and gooey. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with moist crumbs, not wet batter.

Cool & Serve: Let the brownie pie cool in the dish for about 20 minutes. You can dust the top with powdered sugar, if desired, for an elegant touch. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an irresistible dessert experience.

Store: Leftovers can be covered and stored at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerated for up to a week.
