1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (about 2 chicken breasts)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 to 2 tablespoons diced green chilies (adjust to spice preference)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

      Roll Out the Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it onto a clean surface. You will see perforated triangles. Instead of separating them, pinch the seams together at the base of the triangles to create larger rectangles.

        Assemble the Rolls: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the point, sealing in the filling. Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking tray, seam side down. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
