Ingredients

4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless

¼ cup Dijon mustard

¼ cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and smoked paprika until well combined. Set aside about a quarter of the marinade for later use.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the remaining marinade over the salmon, making sure each fillet is well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Bake the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade and place the fillets skin-side down (if applicable) on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired doneness.

Glaze and Broil: Once the salmon is cooked, switch your oven setting to broil. Brush the reserved marinade over each fillet evenly. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning, until the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Pair with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
