Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.

Combine Mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Add Hot Fudge: Gently fold in the hot fudge sauce, chocolate chips, and nuts (if using). The hot fudge will create delicious swirls in the batter.

Transfer to Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool: Remove from the oven and let the brownie bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve: Drizzle extra hot fudge on top of the cooled brownie bread before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
