Ingredients

1 cup dried hibiscus flowers

4 cups boiling water

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3-4 lemons)

1/2 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

Steep the Hibiscus: In a large heatproof pitcher, pour the boiling water over the dried hibiscus flowers. Let it steep for about 15-20 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.

Strain the Tea: After steeping, strain the hibiscus tea through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into another pitcher, discarding the flowers. You should have a vibrant red tea.

Sweeten the Mixture: While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Add Lemon Juice: Once cooled, mix in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Chill It: Add the cold water to the mixture and stir well. Place the tea in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1-2 hours.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled hibiscus lemon tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon.

Enjoy: Refresh yourself with this vibrant, tangy, and sweet drink—perfect for hot summer days or any time you need a pick-me-up!
