Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (red and green)

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 12x16 inches. Make sure it’s even.

Layer the Fillings: Spread the marinara sauce over the dough, leaving about an inch from the edges. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly across the sauce, followed by the pepperoni, Italian sausage, bell peppers, black olives, and Parmesan cheese. Finally, sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the top.

Roll It Up: Starting from one long end, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape, tucking in the sides as you go. Ensure it’s well sealed by pinching the seams together at the end.

Prepare for Baking: Transfer the rolled Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden color and cut a few slits on top for steam to escape.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the Stromboli is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Cool and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
