Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro or basil for garnish (optional)

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the fridge for more flavor).

Prepare the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, allow the coals to burn down until they are glowing and covered with ash.

Grill the Peaches: While the grill is heating up, slice the peaches. Lightly brush them with a little olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Once the grill is hot, place the peach slices on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.

Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). During the last few minutes of grilling, brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce onto each chicken breast, allowing it to caramelize a bit.

Assemble: Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Top each chicken breast with the grilled peach slices and an additional drizzle of BBQ sauce if desired.

Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro or basil and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy your juicy grilled peach BBQ chicken with a fresh salad or grilled vegetables for a complete meal!
