Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt (non-fat or low-fat)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

1 cup granola (your choice)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste the yogurt and add more sweetener if desired. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon for added flavor.

Prepare the Berries: Rinse the mixed berries under cold water and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. If using strawberries, hull and slice them into smaller pieces.

Assemble the Parfait: Take tall glasses or a parfait dish and layer the ingredients as follows:

        - Start with a layer of the Greek yogurt mixture (about 1/3 of the glass).

          - Next, add a layer of mixed berries, using a variety of colors and shapes for an appealing look.

            - Follow this with a layer of granola, sprinkling a generous amount to add crunch.

Repeat the Layers: Repeat the yogurt, berries, and granola layers until you reach the top of the glass, finishing with a final layer of berries and a dollop of Greek yogurt if desired.

Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh mint leaves for color and aroma. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour before serving. Enjoy your healthy and delightful berry parfait!
