Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish (optional)

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice until well combined.

Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Season the fillets with salt and black pepper to taste.

Marinate the Salmon: Pour the maple Dijon mixture over the salmon fillets, making sure to coat them evenly. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

Roast the Salmon: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and roast for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has reached your desired level of doneness.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley, if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.

Enjoy: Pair your Maple Dijon Roasted Salmon with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a delightful meal.
