Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 pound spicy Italian sausage

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (15 oz) corn, drained

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies

1 packet taco seasoning (1.25 oz)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Tortilla chips (for serving)

Instructions

Brown the Meats: In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef and spicy Italian sausage. Cook until well browned, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Mix in the Seasoning: Add the taco seasoning to the meat mixture, stirring to coat evenly. Follow with the diced tomatoes (with juices), black beans, corn, and cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and incorporated.

Layer the Cheeses: Add in the sour cream and then half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Mix everything until well combined and gooey.

Bake the Dip: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the dip mixture into a baking dish (about 9x13 inches). Spread it evenly and top with the remaining cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Sprinkle black olives on top if using.

Time to Bake: Bake the dip in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is golden and melted.

Garnish & Serve: Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly before garnishing with chopped green onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
