1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded

1/2 cup pesto sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

    Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

      Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into 8 triangles along the perforated edges.

        Assemble the Melts: Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken and pesto mixture on the wider end of each triangle. Be careful not to overfill. Starting from the wide end, begin to roll the dough to form a crescent shape, enclosing the filling.

          Egg Wash & Bake: Place the rolled crescents onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden-brown finish.
