Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon olive oil (or any cooking oil)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat, chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle with olive oil. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.

      Add Broccoli:

Once the beef is browned, add the broccoli florets. Stir them into the beef and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.

          Combine Ingredients:

Pour the beef broth and soy sauce into the skillet, stirring to combine. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the broccoli to cook through and absorb the flavors.

              Stir in Rice and Cheese:

Add the cooked rice to the skillet, mixing it well with the beef and broccoli. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, mixing until the cheese is melty and everything is well combined.

                  Adjust Seasoning:

Taste and adjust seasoning with extra salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes if desired.

                      Serve:

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions if using. Serve warm in bowls and enjoy your delicious one-pan meal!
