For the Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Zest and juice of 1 large lemon

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Green Beans:

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon sliced almonds (optional, for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

      Marinate the Chicken:

        In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken thighs, coating them well in the marinade. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for more flavor).

          Prepare the Baking Sheet:

            On a large rimmed baking sheet, spread out the trimmed green beans and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, tossing to combine.

              Add Chicken to the Pan:

                Place the marinated chicken thighs on the baking sheet among the green beans. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.

                  Bake:

                    Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the green beans are tender.

                      Serve:

                        Once cooked, remove the baking sheet from the oven. If using, scatter sliced almonds over the green beans for an extra crunch. Serve hot, garnished with fresh lemon wedges for an extra kick of citrus.
