4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 lemon, juice and zest

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

      Make the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil. Add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and zest.

        Sear the Chops: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once melted and hot, add the pork chops to the skillet. Sear them for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they're golden brown.

          Combine and Bake: Once seared, pour the garlic butter over the pork chops in the skillet. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C).
