¼ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even layer.

          - Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool.

            Make the Cream Cheese Filling:

              - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

                - Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing well to combine.

                  - Add the vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, and pumpkin puree. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is creamy.

                    Assemble the Layers:

                      - Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the cooled crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.

                        - Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for about 2 hours, allowing it to set.

                          Prepare the Whipped Topping:

                            - In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

                              - Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.

                                Finish the Dessert:

                                  - Spread the whipped topping evenly over the chilled cream cheese layer.

                                    - Sprinkle crushed pecans on top if using, and dust lightly with ground cinnamon.

                                      Serve:

                                        - Cut into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy the rich, creamy texture and the delightful pumpkin flavor!
