1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 small corn tortillas

For the Avocado Lime Crema:

1 ripe avocado

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon lime juice (about 1 lime)

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

For Toppings:

Shredded red cabbage

Chopped tomatoes

Sliced jalapeños

Lime wedges

Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well coated. Allow to marinate while preparing the crema.

    Make the Avocado Lime Crema: In a food processor or blender, combine the ripe avocado, sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste, then set aside.

      Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

        Warm the Tortillas: In a separate skillet or on a grill, heat the corn tortillas until they are warm and pliable, about 30 seconds on each side.
