Ingredients

For the shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 small corn or flour tortillas

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnishing)

Lime wedges (for serving)

For the avocado lime sauce:

1 ripe avocado

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream

Juice of 1 lime

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated. Let marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

Make the avocado lime sauce: In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. If desired, add cilantro for an extra flavor boost. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Cook the shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Warm the tortillas: In a separate skillet or directly over a gas flame, warm the tortillas until pliable, about 30 seconds per side. Alternatively, wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds.

Assemble the tacos: On each tortilla, place a portion of cooked shrimp. Drizzle with the creamy avocado lime sauce and sprinkle with fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing.

Enjoy: Serve the shrimp tacos immediately while warm, and savor the explosion of flavors!
